Stonehenge Ibiza-style A rocky headland on Ibiza’s southwest coast has been transformed into an internationally renowned site with the creation of the contemporary art installation Time and Space. Commissioned by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte and crafted by Australian artist Andrew Rogers, it's often called Ibiza Stonehenge for its resemblance to the British landmark. The monument, consisting of 13 large basalt columns arranged in a semicircle overlooking Cala Llentia, was erected in 2014 amidst controversy over planning permission and environmental concerns. Still, it continues to spark curiosity about its purpose and significance.
